How to Train AI From OneDrive Files

You can import your OneDrive files into YourGPT in just a few steps. Here’s how to do it:


🔑 Step 1: Connect Your OneDrive Account

  • Go to your YourGPT Dashboard.

  • Navigate to the Training Datasets section.

  • Select OneDrive as your data source.

  • Click on Import and follow the prompts.

  • If prompted, log in to your Microsoft account and grant access.

  • You’ll see a message: "Your OneDrive account is connected."

🗂 Step 2: Select Files or Folders

  • Once connected, you’ll see your OneDrive folders and files (e.g., Documents, Pictures, PDFs, TXT files).

  • Use the checkboxes to select the files or folders you want to import.

  • Click the Select Files button.

⏳ Step 3: Upload and Wait for Confirmation

  • After clicking Select Files, the system will begin uploading.

  • You’ll see a green confirmation message:
    "1 file added successfully!" (or however many you uploaded)

  • Go back to the Training Datasets > Documents tab in YourGPT.

  • Your uploaded files will appear in the list, marked as Success once processed.

  • You’ll see details like filename, source (one_drive), and upload date.

  • Manage your files (download, delete, refresh) using the Actions menu.

Done! Now your AI can use this OneDrive docs knowledge to answer questions.


Troubleshooting

  • Private Files:
    Make sure your OneDrive files are accessible by the account you connected.

  • File Not Showing?
    Try refreshing, or reconnect your OneDrive account.

  • Wrong File?
    Use the delete option to remove and re-upload as needed.
